How To Get Polymer In The Front

Easy And Quick Method To Farm Lots Of Polymer

Polymer is used in many recipes relating to weapons and more modern technologies, so you’re going to need a lot of it. This guide on How To Get Polymer In The Front tells you everything you need to have unlocked and what you need to do to make Polymer for your camp.

To start, you need to make sure you have the appropriate recipes unlocked. Head to the Tech screen and then navigate to the Basic tab. From here you will need to make sure you have Rope, Crafting Table, Pyrolyzer, Resin, and finally, Polymer. These are all on the same line in the Basic tech tree. You don’t need the rope but you cannot unlock the subsequent technologies without first getting rope. Once you have all the tech unlocked, make sure you have a Crafting Table and then use it to craft the Pyrolzer.

How To Get Polymer In The Front

Once you have the Pyrolzer made, simply place it somewhere. It’s a pretty large structure. Then all you need to do is to place 2 Crude Oil and 2 Resin into the Pyrolzer to craft a Polymer. To do this, make sure the Crude Oil and the Resin are both deposited into the Inventory Bar of the Pyrolzer and then select the crafting recipe on the left side of the screen.

For more help on the materials themselves, be sure to check out our guides for Crude Oil and Resin.

Resin is very useful as it's used in a variety of recipes you'll need to craft on a regular basis. This guide on Where To Find Resin Fast In The Front will tell you the quickest and easiest farming method to get Resin as just simply cutting down trees and bushes is not a reliable source. This can take hours to get enough Resin for even one recipe.
There is a Task in The Front that asks you to repair a structure. This guide on How To Repair Structures For Task In The Front explains how to complete this particular task as, if you have auto repairing structures setup, the game will often not let you attempt any repairs.
The Front has a fantastic inventory system that's based on slots, instead of weight. However, you will still need to learn How To Split Items In The Front as you'll be depositing ingredients, materials, and supplies at a dozen different crafting benches and storage chests before too long.
Making your first base is an exciting venture when you start a new survival game. This guide on How To Make Windows & Doorframes In The Front explains how you can change walls to doorframes and windows as the user-interface can be a little confusing at first and both are required for a healthy base defense.
