The Isle of Armor is the first part of two premium DLC’s in the Expansion Pass. Premium DLC means you must purchase the DLC in order to gain access to the new content. You can purchase a Expansion Pass on the official Nintendo Store, just be careful. Make sure you buy the Expansion Pass for your version of the game, either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield. If you purchase the incorrect version, it will not be compatible and will not work for your version of the game.
How To Get To Isle Of Armor In Pokemon Sword & Shield
Once you have purchased the game, make sure it’s installed. Once the update is installed open your map and fast travel to Wedgehurst, it’s just past route 1, one of the earliest places you visit during the start of the original Pokemon Sword & Shield adventure. Once you arrive in Wedgehurst head down and to the left. You will see a large station.
Head into the station and speak with the man shown above. He will take your Armor Pass and offer to take you to Armor Station. Agree and after a short cut-scene, you will arrive in the Isle of Armor station.
