How To Get Weapon Skins In The Division

These are rare but there is one way to get a guaranteed weapon skin daily. Outside of the daily guarantee though you will have to have a little bit of luck to get one.

Clothes Vendor – You can get the Clothes Vendor in your base buy getting an upgrade at the Security Wing, supply lines it the upgrade. This will allow you to buy a new weapon skin every 24 hours. My friends and I all had the same skin for the first two days so we are all getting the same ones from there at the moment. Don’t forget to check each day or you might end up missing one you like! Obviously you can also buy clothes here as well. This is the only 100% chance way to get a skin.

Enemy Drops – This method is by no means guaranteed but enemies do have a small chance to drop weapon skins. We never even saw one until we played a mission on hard. That means for about 19 hours we didn’t see any enemies drop a weapon skin. The one we got it off of was an elite and on hard mode. I still think they have the possibility to drop off normal missions but I think only the elites (stronger) enemies and bosses have a chance to drop them.

Civilians – While you are running around in The Division you will occasionally run into Civilians who want help. They will want something like Water or Food and you can just hand it off to them. They will normally give you some type of clothing or minor reward but they do have small chance to drop a Weapon Skin. It is so small that I wouldn’t go out of my way to find civilians, just help them when you come across them.

I figured there may also be some in the Dark Zone high level chests but I haven’t reached max level yet. Check back soon for more Tom Clancy’s The Division Guides!
