There are a couple of ways to heal your injuries in State of Decay 2. The first and most important one is to get an infirmary. With this, when you switch characters they will start to heal up assuming the infirmary is rank 2 so you can play as other characters and they will heal up. If you infirmary is rank 2 you can also use it to heal the character you are playing as and heal up injuries on that character. It won’t work if the infirmary is only rank one, that is for blood plagues. The other option is the first aid kit, which is rare but you can craft at infirmaries eventually. These can be used outside the base and heal some injuries and recover a good amount of HP to boot. They are rare, so try to use them sparingly.
