The Sims Mobile is a bite-sized version of The Sims which initially appears to be missing vital elements of The Sims experience but dig a little deeper and you’ll find them. During the earlier elements of the game, in the initial tutorial, not all features are available so progress through the game until you’re able to explore at will and the game isn’t forcing you to pick specific options. Once you have the ability to explore the game at your own leisure you can begin to make friends. Note: You cannot invite people to your house until you have at least introduced yourself.

Once you have introduced yourself to a Sim, whether they become friends or enemies, you can invite them to socialize at your house. This is especially useful when you want to quickly complete a Daily or Life Goal that involves socializing.

Click the 3 dot icon in the lower left of the screen, above the clock and just above your character portrait. From there click the “Relationships” option. That screen will display all of your current Relationships in The Sims Mobile. Click the Sim you want to interact with and more information becomes available. This includes the Sims trait and an option in green, Socialize. Click the Socialize button and you can either instantly travel to their location or bring them to yours.
