How To Open Barn Door At The Farm In Resident Evil 4 Remake

Right near the start of the game, there is a barn you need to enter. In this guide on How To Open Barn Door At The Farm In Resident Evil 4 Remake, we’ll walk you through the simple steps required to open the door of the huge barn on the farm at the start of RE4 Remake.

This is one of the earliest “puzzles” you will encounter in Resident Evil 4 Remake. There is a small farm near the start of the game with a number of animals and enemies on it. There are two enemies here, both of which you can stealth kill from behind if you approach carefully. One of the cows, the one roaming the pen, can become quite aggressive so after you take out the old man, kill the cow. It makes navigating this area slightly less treacherous.

On the side of the farm, near the locked chest, there is a small window that gives you a glimpse of what’s inside the barn. Through this window you can see the back door of the barn, a much smaller door than the one at the front. This door is locked via a padlock on the interior of the door.

As such, gaining access is as simple as shooting the lock and then running around to the rear of the barn to gain access. Be prepared. Once you enter the barn a number of enemies will spawn as well as a single, larger, more powerful enemy. Climbing the ladder and shooting the enemies as they climb is a safe way to complete this encounter with relative ease.
