How To Play Multiplayer In Final Fantasy Explorers
I think you can first join a multiplayer lobby after you unlock the base classes a couple of quests in. If you look down on the touch screen you can see a box with “Play Mode” in it. Click on that and you can pick between Local Co Op and Online Co Op. If you are playing with a buddy in the same room then you will use Local Co Op. If you want to play with other players from around the world you click on Online Co Op.
If you want to do the quest that you are currently at in the story then you should host, it is sometimes difficult to find someone right where you are at that exact moment. You can join someone, but odds are they will be higher or lower level then you and on a different quest. This is also where you can look at your friends online and join a game with them. Just a side note, the game does have some FPS drops online so be prepared for those.
