How To Store Items In Animal Crossing New Horizons
In order to store items you have to first pay off your 5000 Nook Miles loan. After you do that, talk to Tom Nook again and he will talk to you about a house. Ask him about the house and he will agree to make you one for 98000, which can be paid later. Accept his offer and then you need to wait a day for the home to be built. When the house is built, go inside and you can store any of your items from your inventory into storage.
Then if you press right on the D-pad you can open up your storage and take anything you want out of it. This is a good spot for extra wood, rocks, or any materials or clothes you aren’t using right away. I also like to use it when the Museum is being created to hold Bugs and Fish I have’t turned into Blathers yet, just to get a jump on filling it out when he returns.
