Before you concern yourself with teleporting, you need to prepare your destination. When you Teleport, you are immediately returned to your currently linked portal. You can only go between two portals at a time, so you need to make sure that your home base is registered correctly and that you going through the correct portal. While most common ingredients will accompany you when you teleport, more valuable materials will not.
