How To Unlock Classes In Xenoblade Chronicles 3
When you start the game you go through various tutorials. Eventually, you will be told to swap your character’s classes around. You have access to the six starting classes that each of the characters bring to your roster. These act as the base classes for the game. Even these classes, however, may start with a locked icon next to the class details. This means, while you have access to the class, you have not unlocked it.
For example, if you want to unlock Ogre for the main character Noah, it’s not available immediately. You need to have Noah play alongside a character that is using the Ogre class. This allows that character to automatically teach Noah the class. Over time, the silhouette on the class screen fills and Noah will be able to use that class.
If you are in a rush, you can unlock classes quicker by stacking the effect. For example, having several characters use the Ogre class will teach all other characters in the party the Ogre class quicker.
