Where To Find Palico Gadgets

All current Palico Gadgets are unlocked through Grimalkyne quests. These are special quests that become available after you gather enough Doodles and track down the Grimalkyne in that particular area. Below are the different Gadgets you can unlock in each of the areas where the Grimalkyne hide. There is also an additional gadget that you can unlock after completing all of the Grimalkyne quests and then speaking with the Lynian Researcher at the Research area to locate the Gajalaka.

  • Wildspire Wastes Grimalkyne Protectors – Shieldspire
  • Coral Highland Grimalkyne Troupers – Coral Orchestra
  • Rotten Vale Grimalkyne Plunderer – Plunderblade
  • Gajalaka – Meowlotov Cocktail

Palico Gadgets Guide

Vigorwasp Spray
The first Gadget you have automatically. The Palico can drop Vigorwasps to heal you during combat

Flashfly Cage
The Palico drops a cash that contains a certain bug. Depending on the bug, the outcome changes. For example, a Flashbug will blind all nearby enemies when activated.

Shieldspire
The Palico drops a large shield. This provokes monsters to attack the Palico.

Coral Orchestra
Using this lets your Palico provide random buffs during combat. This also lets your Palico ride into battle atop a trusty steed. Well, it’s a Shamos but still pretty cool right? And it’s only available in areas with Shamos.

Plunderblade
The Palico will randomly attempt to rob items from monsters. Higher proficiency increases the quantity of items.

Meowlotov Cocktail
Throws a Gajalaka style bomb that does good damage to monsters. Blast strength increases with proficiency.
