How To Upgrade Spirit Ashes In Elden Ring

To upgrade your Spirit Ashes, you will have to help the woman at the shack outside of the Stormveil Castle. She will ask you to find her little chrysalids. We had a guide on how to do that here.

Once you do that she will return to the Table of Lost Grace and she will be wondering of her future. If you keep talking to her she will mention something about talking to the blacksmith. Go talk to the blacksmith and he will talk about her having an affinity for spirit tuning.

Talk to the woman again and she will inquire if the blacksmith could teach her. You go ask the blacksmith and he says no, he won’t do it. Come back after a couple of bosses and you will find her across from the blacksmith and she can now upgrade your Spirit Ashes. He will even thank you for giving him something new to do.
