How To Use Registered Items In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl

Registering items allows you to use them quickly. This guide on How To Use Registered Items In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl completely explains the item registration system including information on how items are registered, how you can use them, and what they do.

Registering items is a very simple process. Open the main menu and navigate to your bag. From here you can check all of the various pockets in your bag. Not all items can be registered but all of the items you will need to use on a regular basis can be registered. Items such as your fishing rod, bike, Vs. Seeker, etc. Once an item is registered you can access it with a single hotkey without having to open your bag and navigate through all of the pockets.

How To Use Registered Items In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl

Once you have registered an item, it will be on the registered item wheel. When you are exploring press the + button on the controller. If you have more than one item registered it will bring up the item wheel. Then, from there, you move the left stick either left, up, right, or down to select the corresponding item.

If you only have one item registered, it will immediately attempt to use the item. For example, if you only have a fishing rod registered on the wheel, it will immediately try to fish. If you’re not near a fishing spot you will get the message that this is not the time or place.

So make sure to register multiple items and then you can simply use the method described above to use them whenever appropriate.
