The Resistance Base is very simple. All of the characters are marked on the map although one is inside the interior. Each of the characters requires you to complete a Side Mission but they are all clearly marked and none of them prove to be challenging or difficult. There are only actually three unique characters to unlock although one of the characters has two different unlocks, for two different episodes. So once you’ve recruited all three characters from this area, you can move on with the 4/4 score.

How To Unlock R2-KT (Astromech Droid)

Head to this location on the Resistance Base and speak with R2-KT. You need to use a Dark Side character, I used Darth Vadar to speak with the droid. Complete the Side Mission Attackodana to unlock R2-KT.

How To Unlock R2-Q5 (Astromech Droid)

Head to this location in the Resistance Base and speak with R2-Q5. Complete the Side Mission Not The Sharpest Tool In The Box to unlock R2-Q5 as a playable character.

How To Unlock Kaydel Connix (Hero)

Head into the interior at this location. Once inside speak with Kaydel Connix. Complete the Side Mission Resistance Riddles and you unlock Kaydel Connix. This one gets you both Kaydel Connix and Kaydel Connix Episode IX. So it counts as two unlocks.
