After you arrive in the first town you are given some legendary clues, these clues provide the basis for tracking down and catching your own Legendary Pokemon. On the West edge of Giant’s Bed is the first Legendary ruins you will encounter, unless you skipped past to the Regice one. Once you arrive at the ruins, interact with the door to receive the clue. The clue reads “Let ring the piercing note that will make the giant of steel”.
It’s a relatively simple puzzle but if you haven’t played Pokemon for a while, you may have forgotten that you can whistle. After interacting with the door, close the dialogue and then Whistle. To Whistle you click the left stick in. If you are close enough to the door when you whistle, the door will open. Then simply head inside, stand on all the lights, and then save the game before interacting with the statue.
- Approach the Ruins Door in the Giant’s Bed area
- Read the clue “Let ring the piercing note that will make the giant of steel”
- Close the dialogue
- Whistle right in front of the door (click left stick in)
- Open the door to fight Registeel (save first)
