Another day, another treasure hunt in Lost Ark. For this Lost Ark Treasure Map Guide we’re looking to find Waiting Beast’s Plaza, located deep within the region of Battlebound Plains. I found this map several areas before, so I wasn’t able to actually get to the plains before progressing through the main story for a few hours.
There are a number of different treasure maps in Lost Ark but they all function in pretty much the same way. You’ll see a scroll in your inventory marked with a red wax seal. You interact with the treasure map in your inventory and you see a clue. the clue always includes the name of the secret dungeon you’re looking for and the region where it is based. Then it’s simply a matter of linking up the map icons in the image with the real map itself.
Lost Ark Treasure Map Guide – Waiting Beast’s Plaza
The Waiting Beast’s Plaza dungeon entrance can be found at the location I’m standing in the image above. There’s a group of four areas on the map where the terrain is impassable. It can be found on the right hand side one, on the Southern edge. As you approach you will see an interact icon appear to enter the secret dungeon. Approach and interact with it to find the dungeon. That then completes the treasure map.
Head inside and there’s a boss fight with a giant crocodile, level 21. It’s an easy match if you’re even close to the level. It’s huge so getting back attacks puts it down really easily and quickly.

- Search the south edge of the eastern most crevice to find the secret dungeon (check the map above)
