Ni No Kuni 2 Tactic Tweaker Guide

Ni No Kuni 2 Tactic Tweaker Guide
The Tactic Tweaker is an exciting feature in Ni No Kuni 2 that allows you to strategize and formulate plans for upcoming battles. This Ni No Kuni 2 Tactic Tweaker Guide will walk you through the basics of the Tactic Tweaker feature so you can make sure you are as prepared as possible when entering difficult battles, especially against Tainted Monsters.

Once you have progressed enough through the main story you will unlock the Tactic Tweaker. This is a new section of the menu that allows you to spend Battle Points to advance with new tactics. Battle Points are earned each time one of your party members increases in level. While this may seem trivial and basic, it’s actually one of the most vital parts of combat when you are fighting more difficult monsters.

There are four main sections of the Tactic Tweaker. The upper left is the Enemy Type section. This is where you can alter the damage you inflict against specific types of enemies. For the general fodder you fight on a regular basis, I wouldn’t worry too much. But for boss battles and difficult monster fights, this can be a huge difference maker.

The upper right section is Elemental Resistances. Again, this can be key when fighting strong enemies of specific resistance. This is very cheap to upgrade so I would suggest you increase this one as quickly as possible. Make sure to have at least level 4-5 available when fighting strong elemental enemies.

The lower left portion is all about drops, so it doesn’t influence the success of a battle. However, you can increase your experience points and cash drops for the bigger fights.

Finally, the lower right section. These are general passive buffs. Personally, I maxed it out quickly and keep the damage as high as possible.

To increase any of the specific sections of the Tactic Tweaker, you need to upgrade that section. Simply highlight the section and follow the instructions in the lower right for the Level Up Setting.
