NieR Replicant is filled with rewarding side quests, both simple and complex. This NieR Replicant Ver1.22 Side Quest Guide will tell you where to find all of the side quests we have discovered on our adventure through the game so far.
NieR Replicant’s story is divided into two distinct parts, effectively splitting the game in two due to events that occur in the story. Avoiding any spoilers, but be careful as quests in the first half are not always available. Some quests are only available during certain stages so be sure to complete any side quests as you encounter them, if you want to do them all on your first play through.
Once you meet the Grimoire in the story, and save your sister, you will then speak with the singing lady by the fountain who will tell you to speak with Popola. After speaking with Popola, a tutorial prompt will appear, informing you that you have unlocked side quests.

There are a lot of side quests, most of which are very basic and give clear and precise instructions. As such, we’re focusing mainly on quests that are more difficult to complete. Either through lack of instruction and direction or a more challenging objective.
