Nioh 2 Kodama Location Guide

Kodama 1
You can’t miss this one. After you get past the giant horse head demon, go up the slope and around the corner you will see the Kodama.

Kodama 2
The second Kodama is found right after you learn about the Burst Counter. Follow the path past where you killed the demon and take the left path up. Follow it all the way around and there is a Kodama near the end of the path.

Kodama 3
The third Kodama is found after the second shrine, in the fishing village. Clear out the bandits and wrap around the house where the first archer shoot at you. Follow it around to find the Kodama on the floor.

Kodama 4
The fourth Kodama is found in the second half of the fishing village, near where you face a second Yokai. Inside one of the broken down houses you will find it huddled in the corner.

Kodama 5
The next one can be found across the street from number four. You will have to bust down a box and go behind the house to find it.

Kodama 6
After you leave the fishing village, you will go up a path with a couple bandits. There is an archer up above who shoots at you while you fight a melee bandit. Past the red arch, there is a Kodama on the right side near a candle altar.

Kodama 7
The last Kodama of the level is past the third shrine, the one you need to purify. go through the gate with the key and it will be to the left on the ground.

Kodama 1
From the start you can see a wooden bridge a little ways ahead of you. Go to the bridge and cross it. Then take a right and go up that path to find the Kodama near the tree.

Kodama 2
From the first Kodama, turn around and run towards the tree you can kick down. Kick the tree down and down below you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 1
You can find this first Kodama when you get to the village area with a bunch of bandits. Behind the big building on the right side, you will find a Kodama waiting.

Kodama 2
From number one, go around the upper part of the village until you are on the roofs. Follow the bridge over to the second roof and you’ll find the Kodama under a sack.

Kodama 3
Third one is found in the cave where you find the Smith’s daughter. Break the boxes here and you’ll find it hiding behind them.

Kodama 4
This one is through the dark Yokai Realm near the second shrine. I recommend clearing the area before going for this Kodama. In the area that you purify, there is a house with a ladder leading down into a tunnel. Down there you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 5
Number five is found around the entrance to the large fort looking building. Run around the outside of the area and you will find the Kodama in a corner near a couple small Yokai.

Kodama 6
The sixth one is found outside of the flaming fort building. Go inside and then up to the second floor. Keep going until you find a ladder that leads outside and down below. This will put you on the roof where the Kodama is.

Kodama 7
The last one is near the top of the burning fort building. After you push down the last water barrel, go to the left of the chest and the Kodama is near that pillar.

Kodama 1
First Kodama is found in the back of the house with the two Bandits inside. The Kodama is near some boxes.

Kodama 2
From the second shrine, take the stairs up about halfway. There is an opening in the wood there, go through and to the end to find the Kodama.

Kodama 3
The last one is found on the path up to the Cyclops. On the side of the mountain, near some small statues, there is a Kodama hiding out.

Kodama 1
From the first shrine, head towards the ladder you can see. Go around to the left and through the opening that leads to some stairs. Before the stairs, look right and break the boxes to find your Kodama.

Kodama 2
The second Kodama can be found up the path from the first. When you get building with a bunch of burning buildings around it, go around to the right and you’ll find the Kodama.

Kodama 3
This one can be found from the first shrine inside the cave. Follow the cave around until you see a Yokai patrolling in a cavern. Follow that path to the Medusa Yokai and then take a sharp right. Follow that path out and keep going to the second left and take that cavern. Then take an immediate right and then an immediate left and there it is.

Kodama 4
The fourth one is found in the poison swamp down at the bottom of the cave. You need to clear the poison by breaking the viper statue in the area. From there you can find the Kodama on one of the bottom bridge parts.

Kodama 5
Now head back to the broken viper statue. This time you are heading down to where the Medusa was in the poison and killing her. In a crevice near there, you will see a blob. Fire bomb or kill the blob and behind it, you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
From the fifth one, head into the cave entrance near the two broken pieces of bridge. There is a Medusa on the ceiling of that cave, shoot her down before entering. Kill her and take the right side tunnel to find the Kodama.

Kodama 1
You will find your first Kodama in the cave section of this level. From the room where you first face the white haired lady Yokai, Go through the tunnel with the wooden logs above it and take a left. You will find the Kodama in that corner.

Kodama 2
The next Kodama will be found in the forest area across the wooden bridge on the mountain side.

Kill the Medusa in the woods and go to the end of the area, down a little ramp. You will find the Kodama there.

Kodama 3
The third one is found in the village you can purify. After you purify it, you can find a well near the end of a path. On the other side of the street you will find the Kodama. If you hit the rock into a well a Kappa loot demon will pop out.

Kodama 4
Fourth one can be found near the second shrine. Take the path from the second shrine down and enter the cave system. Go through the area with the two Medusas, and follow the middle path. At the end take a left and follow that path around and there is a hidden Kodama there.

Kodama 5
From the fourth one, go back into the Medusa cave and then exit where you see a ladder going down. Kick the ladder down and drop down to fight a couple Yokai. In that room, next to some logs, you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
Number six is found near the third shrine, right outside of the temple it is in. You have to clear the Yokai realm before getting it.

Kodama 7
The last Kodama is found in the area with the lightning coming down. Kill the enemies and follow the path around to the left. Keep going until you see a guy sitting under a scaffolding. Kill him and the Kodama is under the sacks near there.

Kodama 1
From the first shrine, follow the path down and go under the rock archway. Take a left from there and follow the path to the Yokai realm and a mini boss. Kill the boss and the Kodama will be in the bushes in the area.

Kodama 2
The second one is found past the second Shrine. Keep going until you reach some building and fight your way inside of them. Head up to the second floor of one of them and follow it outside and around. The Kodama is hiding in some baskets at the end of the path.

Kodama 3
The third one is found when you cross the wooden bridge that leads to more buildings. You can see the Kodama through a locked door in one of the buildings if you go up high enough. Make sure you drain the water from the area first. From the bridge, take a right and drop down into the hole in the house. You will see a Yokai roaming the area, drop on him if you can. Now follow the tunnel to a chest and a ladder. Up the ladder you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 4
The fourth one is near the third one. Stay in the building and fight your way up to the second floor. Go out the exit and wrap around the building. Drop down to the lower rooftop and the Kodama will be found there.

Kodama 5
Number five is found in the area with the bird Yokai. In that area there is a spot with two opened chests. Behind one of the opened chests you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
You can get this one once you drain the water for the third Shrine. Follow the lower path near the third Shrine until you make it to a second ladder. Climb it up, and follow that path up to the top. You will see what looks like a stone pillar down below. Drop down onto that structure and the Kodama is there.

Kodama 7
From the sixth one, drop down and look for the waterfall off the edge. Look down near a small ledge popping out near there and the Kodama is there.

Kodama 1
From the first Shrine, head to the central building and check near the left set of stairs. The Kodama is in the corner near there.

Kodama 2
Now head to the other side of the building and go through the red arch in the distance. Behind the stone candle holder you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 3
The next one is found in the caves underground. After you meat up with Maeda, head into the next room and there will some mining Yokai. Kill them and then look here, across from the candles and statues in the room, to find a wall with eyes. Press start and use the Taunt gesture to remove the wall. Follow the path down to find the Kodama.

Kodama 4
Number four is found in the same cave. Exit from where you found number three and then go right. Follow that path until you see some candles and a arrow hole in the wall. The Kodama is near the candles.

Kodama 5
The last Kodama for the level is found right before the boss of the mission. Look down to the right and you’ll see it on the floor.

Kodama 1
The first Kodama is found near the second ladder you climb up. At the top you will be in a cave with some miners inside. Kill the miners and in the back of the area is another ladder to get to the upper level. Cross over the wooden bridge and you will find the Kodama on some brown sacks.

Kodama 2
The next Kodama can be found after you get to the elevator part. Take it up to the top and start working your way down. Take the orange crystal path down and then come out onto the scaffolding near there. Look down below and you’ll see the Kodama down there.

Kodama 3
The third Kodama is found when you get outside and onto the orange and grey crystal paths. Near one of the Yokai spawns there is a tree and the Kodama is under that tree.

Kodama 4
Number four can be found on the path that leads up towards the castle from the third. You will have to beat a Ice Cyclops on the way up there and avoid rock throwers. Go up to where the demons were throwing rocks at you and follow that to the bandit in the back. Kill the bandit and you’ll find the Kodama there.

Kodama 5

The fourth one can be found as you make your way up to the fort. Past the stone steps, before the steps the ice cyclops is on, there is a path to the right. Follow it to the woodne fence and look over the ledge to see the Kodama down below.

Kodama 6
The last Kodama is found in the Fort at the top of the ice mountain. While getting Kodama five, clear the house near it with the monkey Yokai inside. There is a chest in that room that gives you the castle key. Now work your way back up to the fort and enter the door on the right side, the wooden door outside of the fort. Follow that to the back and go up into the fort to find the Kodama near a statue.

Kodama 1
From the first shrine, head into the forest and fight the bandits. Past the first little wrecked building on the left, there is a path that leads up to the rooftops. Go up and drop down behind the house to find the Kodama near a tree.

Kodama 2
The next one is found near the forest with the searchlight. Clear the area out of all the Yokai to make this easier. Near the wooden ramp that leads out of the area, there is a little spot below it that has your Kodama.

Kodama 3
The third Kodama is found after the spot light forest area. Keep going until you go downhill and run into a broken down hut with a chest inside. There is a put outside where the Kodama is hiding.

Kodama 4
Number four can be found past the second shrine. Progress through the area until you run into the archer and the enemy with the hand canon. Kill them and head up to where the hand canon enemy was. Follow the tree out towards the cliff near there and look below to see a log sticking out. Drop onto that log and you’ll find the Kodama.

Kodama 5
The fifth one is found in the second spotlight forest. Clear out the forest of enemies and you can find the Kodama hiding against the wall.

Kodama 6
The sixth Kodama can be found after the second spotlight forest. Instead of taking the wooden path out of that forest, take the side path and follow that road. Clear out enemies until you reach the shrine building across the wooden bridge. Under the stairs to the building you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 7
The last Kodama is near the boss entrance. Go into the building near there and out the back door to find the Kodama.

Kodama 1
The first Kodama can be found in the first camp you enter. Go up the path near the sniper tower and then out of the camp from the large gate near there. Head down the wooden steps and break some boxes down the second set of stairs to find the Kodama.

Kodama 2
Now head back to the enemy camp and enter the Dark Realm there. Clear out the Yokai and clear the darkness to reveal the Kodama in the area. Head up to the hill in the area to the building and check near the large boxes to find the Kodama.

Kodama 3
The third Kodama is found near the second shrine. Go up the stairs of the building and don’t enter the building. Instead, follow the path around to get to a ladder that goes up to the third floor. Follow that all the way around to find the Kodama.

Kodama 4
Open the two shortcuts that lead to the second shrine then enter the large doorway into the big building.

When inside, enter the left room and go to the back corner to find the Kodama.

Kodama 5
From the last Kodama, head upstairs and cross over into the next room. Behind the far small staircase, you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
The sixth Kodama is found near the third shrine. Go into the little shed near the shrine and the Kodama is under some boxes inside.

Kodama 7
Cross the bridge from the third shrine and take the left path. Follow it to the end and there is a broken wooden bridge at the end. Look below and there is a platform you can fall down to. Fall down to it, look over the edge on the opposite side and drop down to the ice floor below, the Kodama is there.

Kodama 8
The next one is found near the giant blue crystal you have to break. Go into the area with the buildings near there and take the path up. Follow that to the roof of the building and the Kodama is there.

Kodama 1
Form the first shrine, enter the spider cave and take it to the other side. Kill the enemies in the area and then drop down below and finish the rest. The house that is connected to the spider cave has the Kodama behind it.

Kodama 2
Now go to the cave near the underside of the mortars in the area. Clear that cave out and there is a Kodama in a pot there.

Kodama 3
Now go back to the area where the mortars were being hit and exit out the gate near the windmill. Follow that path around to a collapsed house and there is a Kodama near it.

Kodama 4
The next Kodama is through the cave you find in the second mortar field. Take the cave to the end and climb up the ladder that leads outside. Before exiting the ruined wood structure, look left to see the Kodama.

Kodama 5
After the second mortar field, you will enter into a castle via a underground passage. When inside, take a right and follow that path around until you reach the end of the path. Follow the white wall around and there is a small alcove behind it with the Kodama inside.

Kodama 6
The sixth one is found near the third shrine in the area. Break the folding walls in the area with a strike then head into the spider room. Kill the spiders, then enter the room with the pillar inside. There is a hole in the floor that leads to the Kodama and a hot spring. You might have to hit the switches up top to rotate this pillar first, I already rotated them when I found it.

Kodama 7
The last one is found on the upper levels of the state building. You need to hit two switches up there that move two wooden bridges in the area. When you are on the blue/purple looking one, take the left mini bridge into the small room there. You will find the Kodama behind some boxes.

Kodama 1
First Kodama can be found in the garden near the first shrine. Go up onto the wooden walkway from the shrine and take the left path. Open the door into the building and follow it until you can go out into the garden. Kill the snake head enemies and you’ll find the Kodama near some rocks in the back.

Kodama 2
From the garden, take the ladder up to the roofs. On of the roofs has a large opening you can use to get inside the building. At the end of the ceiling path you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 3
Now head back to the roofs and cross over to the other building on the opposite side. Drop down the ladder there and there is a Kodama in the corner by and enemy Yokai. If you beat the boss, you have to restart the level to get the Kodama.

Kodama 1
The first Kodama is found past the second shrine. Go towards the NPC and then past the NPC until you can take a left down a path. Follow that path to the end and you will find the Kodama in a house.

Kodama 2
The second one is also near the second shrine. Head into the building with the Yoaki and the dark realm and clear them out. Go up stairs and follow the path around on the outside to find the Kodama behind some boxes.

Kodama 3
From the second Kodama location, head through the building and exit to the shoddy wooden bridge outside. Cross over to the roofs of the buildings and drop down below. Follow the path around the house to find the Kodama.

Kodama 4
Number four is across that same wooden bridge but through the large building, the one with the screaming lady Yokai. Go out the doors you open and take the right side path. Fall down below at the house and you’ll find the Kodama there.

Kodama 5
The fifth Kodama can be easily gotten from the first shrine shortcut. Follow the path to the water area with two gunners. Kill them and wrap around to the destroyed boats and you will find the Kodama there.

Kodama 6
From the boats, head up the stone set of stairs and go down near the rat Yokai. There is a small island with a tree on it, the Kodama is there.

Kodama 7
Number six is past the third shrine. Head into the area with the red building in the middle and kill all the Yokai around there. Cross through the building and down the steps . On the right side there is a small building with a Kodama near it.

Kodama 8
Now enter the building near the sixth Kodama and clear out the rat Yokai in the garden area. In the right corner of that area, near a stone pillar, you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 9
The last one can be found after you beat the first boss near the third shrine. Open the locked gate and wrap around the broken building near there. The Kodama is in the back area there.

Kodama 1
The first Kodama is near where you first run into the blue fire, near the large ugly Yokai. Go outside that building and take a right. Run towards the larger building with a burning roof. Inside the building is a couple of samurai you can kill. Wrap around the outside of that building to find the Kodama.

Kodama 2
The next Kodama is past the first Dark Realm area. After you open the dark past the Dark Realm, look to the right to find the Kodama on the floor.

Kodama 3
For the third one, head to the second shrine first. Now run towards the burned tree in the distance, you can see it from the well. There is a hole in the wall near there, go through it and take the ladder on the other side. On the roof near there, you will find the third Kodama.

Kodama 4
Now head back to that burned tree and and go up the steps towards the building. Do not enter but run along the right path to find the Kodama.

Kodama 5
The fifth one is found near the AI samurai who is named Yusuke I think. Clear the Dark Realm near him and the Kodama is to the right of where you found Yusuke.

Kodama 6
Next is near the AI samurai who joins up with you, Yusuke was his name I think. Don’t enter the Dark Realm, instead go to the left house. In the corner of that house you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 7
Number seven is found near the second shortcut to the second shrine, after you wrap around with Yusuke. In the building near that shortcut there is a wall you with eyes. Do a backflip and it will open up, revealing a path with a Kodama on the other side.

Kodama 8
The last one is found near the third shrine, right before the boss room. Look on the left side of the building and you’ll find the Kodama there.

Kodama 1
First Kodama is found right past the swamp bit. As you go up towards the wooden bridges and structures, take a quick left and wrap around the tree to find the Kodama.

Kodama 2
Now head into the wooden structure area and clear the enemies outs. Before crossing the bridge, take a left and go up onto the structures. Follow it to the end where you can look down and see a tiny ledge with a Kodama on it.

Kodama 3
Number three is past the wooden bridge that leads into the Dark Realm area. Clear the enemies and break the large yellow crystal to clear the Dark Realm. Now climb up the ladder to the wooden structures and follow the right most path from the ladder. This will lead you to Kodama number 3.

Kodama 4
Number four is near the second shrine. Work your way through the rice fields until you make it to the house near the shortcut back to the shrine. Go up onto the roof to find the Kodama there.

Kodama 5
From the fourth one, cross to the other side of the house and go up that dirt path. Drop down off the ledge into more rice paddies. Go to the bottom on to find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
The next Kodama is found below the wooden bridge you cross to get into the Dark Realm near shrine two. Drop down to grab it and use the cave to get back up.

Kodama 7
Number seven is across the bridge and in the area with the Yokai Dark Realm. Cross the bridge and take a quick right, follow it to the end to find the Kodama.

Kodama 8
The last one can be found in the same area as the seventh one. Enter the right side building and head up the stairs to the outside. Wrap around the outside of the building to the right and the Kodama is around the corner.

Kodama 1
The first Kodama is found past the first bridge. Go through the gate and climb the ladder to find it behind a box.

Kodama 2
For the next one, head to the second shrine. Go through the wooden doors and past the set of two ladders. In the next hall there is a rat Yokai and a red barrel near a cracked wall. Shoot the barrel or use a bomb to crack it. Inside you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 3
From the hole you just created, head up the stairs towards the fire then take the left path. Follow the stairs up to the Dark Realm and clear it out. Take the stairs down on the other side of the Dark Realm and you will find the Kodama down there.

Kodama 4
Now head back to the hole and instead of taking that left path, go straight until you can take a left into another Dark Realm area. Clear it out and go up the stairs in that area. In the room with the rat Yokai, take the right hall into a room with a hole in the floor. Drop down and the Kodama is in there.

Kodama 5
The next one is past the third shrine. Clear out the Dark Realm pas that shrine and go to the bottom floor. There is a door opened down there and do the path from there you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
Now head back onto the floor and look towards the bell. There is a wall underneath the stairs that has eyes. I did a backflip and it moved for free, but you might have to kill it. The Kodama is inside.

Kodama 7
Now head back up to the third shrine and look out over the destroyed floor near there. You will see a broken pillar connected to a second broken pillar. Drop down to that pillar and run up to the opposite side. Follow that room around and drop down near the busted staircase to find the other Kodama.

Kodama 1
The first Kodama is right near the first shrine. Check near the gate and in the corner you will spot it.

Kodama 2
Number two is a bit past the first shrine and in the building with the hot spring, it is behind the door.

Kodama 3
The third Kodama is near the second shrine. Turn around from the shrine and there is a log wall, the Kodama is behind there.

Kodama 4
From the second shrine, cross the bridge and meet up with Honda. Instead of following the white cloth walls around, look for a ladder on the cliff side. Climb down and there is a Kodama near the boats.

Kodama 5
The fifth one is found past the second shrine, in the large field where you fight the enemy samurai. There is a tower near the large wooden gate you can climb up. At the top you will find the Kodama.

Kodama 6
There is another Kodama in that field. Keep progressing up the path until Hanzo and Honda leave. Go further up and there will be a Yokai near a cannon. Kill the Yokai and launch the cannon. Head back down into the field and you will see that a barrier has been broken by the cannon and the Kodama can be claimed.

Kodama 7
The last Kodama is found near the third shrine. Go forward into the estate and take a left. In the hall on the left side there is a set of armor at the end. Break the armor and the Kodama is underneath that.
