The trick treasure boxes in Onimusha Warlords are mini puzzles that you need you solve for extra gear. They start off simple but eventually get pretty complicated. Sometimes, when you first reach a puzzle or question, you don’t always have the vital information yet. However, regardless of whether or not you have obtained the clues for yourself, you can still use the answers below to successfully complete any puzzle.
You can find this one here on the map, in the Keep. Once you solve the puzzle, you will unlock the bow. For this one go left, right, left, right and then right again to open the box.
This one is story related so the box can’t be skipped. It is found here on the map.
You can move the left, middle and right set of numbers on this box. First move the middle, then the right and end on the left. This will open the box and let you open up the Blue doors in the area.
This box can’t be missed and you will get it with Kaede. You will find it in the west prison after you put down the silver and gold plate. For the puzzle you move the middle square first, the right square twice in a row and then the left square twice in a row.
This one can be missed and it found here on the map. It is under the waterfall so it can be hard to see.
This one is a large one so buckle up. Move the bottom left square first, then the top right one, then the bottom right one and finally the bottom left one twice to open the box. This will get you the Great Armor set.
This one is different from the others, you only need two symbols this time. Pick the third and the sixth symbols from the left and then hit OK to open the box.
You will be playing as Kaede again when you find this box, it is here on the map.
For this one you want to move the left square twice, the middle square once, the right square twice and the middle square twice to open the box. Inside you will find the Decorated arrow.
These aren’t called trick boxes but they have questions attached to them that you need to answer in order to open them. The first one is hard to miss, you find it by your first magically sealed door. Going from the left you want the first set of symbols, the third set of symbols and finally the sixth set of symbols. Hit OK after you have entered all of them and you will get a Power Jewel. It translates to The Clan Of Orges.
The second question box can be found here on the map, right after you use the rope ladder.
Again we will start from the Left. First you want to pick the sixth symbol, then the first symbol and finally the fourth symbol. Hit the OK button at the end and you will get another Power Jewel. Translates to The Gauntlet Of Orges for those who care.
Going from the left pick the fifth symbol, then the seventh symbol and then come back to the second symbol to open the box. Translates to the Chasm of Dimensions for those who care.
