Overkill’s The Walking Dead Work Station Guide
Work Stations provide vital buffs to your character. This Overkill’s The Walking Dead Work Station Guide will walk you through the basics of the Work Stations in the game, including the potential buffs and bonuses, and how to increase the level of each Work Station.
Once you progress through the story and have your Hub upgrade unlocked, you unlock Survivor Missions and Work Stations. There are four different Work Stations in total, each can house a number of survivors as workers. These workers increase the potential buffs and effects and Work Station can provide, based on the number and level of the Survivors assigned.

Each of the different Work Stations can be upgraded by unlocking more upgrades in the Camp Upgrades screen. For example, if you want to assign more Survivors to work on the Depot, you will need to upgrade your Hub to the next level, the same works for each of the other Work Stations. The higher the survivor level, survivor class and morale bonus, the better the buffs you receive.Depot – Health
The Depots buffs and bonuses focus on health and healing. You want to assign Tank survivors to this work station for maximum effect. They are the ones with the shield. Each portion of the circle increases your health regeneration by a set amount.
The Range – Stealth
The Range is the home for your tacticians, the character class shown by the aiming symbol. This particular Work Stations focuses on buffs that improve stealth. This includes quieter walking, running and stealth take-downs.
Radio – Crafting
The Radio is arguably one of the more impactful at the early stages. You want to assign Scouts here, those marked by the North pointing arrow. At its base level, it increases your starting crafting resources, which can allow you to create additional tools and class-specific items.
Clinic – Revival
The Clinic is the place to select your Support characters, marked by the cross of squares. This Work Station offers increased downtime when incapacitated before death. The final bonus allows you to get incapacitated one additional time before insta-death.
