Paper Mario The Origami King Autumn Mountain Toad Location Guide

First one is really hard to miss. When you get off the tram, hit the green Toad bouncing around near you. From there drop off the platform and hit the jumping fish to reveal the ship captain Toad.

Now wrap around the tram station and there are some coins and a bush. Hit the bush and then hit the leaf under it to reveal another Toad.

There is also a red leaf that stands out on the ground. Hit that for another hidden Toad.

After finding the row boat, head up the stairs and stop near the sign. Hit the can on the floor and find the Toad inside.

Number five is found when you get to the tall yellow grass. Head to the bottom left corner and follow the path to the end. It will drop you down a hole and you can grab a Toad down there. TO get out, follow the path out and then hammer down the wall.

The next one if found shortly after number five. Escape the underground part and follow the path up to the long grass. The Toad is hidden here, under the grass.

There is a second Toad hiding in the tall grass. Head to the mini shrine and then go south from the shrine until you get right about here. Hit the ground with the hammer to find the Toad.

The last Toad hiding in the grass is near the entrance of the grass fields. Head to this area and smack around with your hammer to find him.

After you cross the wooden bridge you will see two trees. Smack the trees to have a Toad drop down.

The next Toad can be found near the temple on the mountain. When you get to the temple area, go all the way left and through a little cave in the wall. Push the rock down with the hammer then use that to get the Toad on the wall.

Now head back to the save point and take the skinny path up the cliff there to the green pipe. Hit the tree near there to get a Toad to pop out.

Now take the pipe and hit the Dragonfly on the other side for another Toad. Drop down and use the 1000 Arms technique to pull down the crawling bug as well for another Toad.

As you cross the bridge to the main shrine in the area, a small fish will beach itself near you between the bridges. Smack it to reveal a Toad that was turned into a fish.

The next Toads are found after you get the Water ability by clearing out the shrine. Go to the river and fill it up with your water move. There will be some floating boats once the water is raised and you can now go left around the other boats. On the other side there are a few Toads. One of them is a bug crawling under beached boats, smack him. The next few are in a tree so smack both of the trees. Finally there is one hiding on top of the crates in the form of a yellow leaf. Jump on the boats to reach the crates there.

The last Toad in the area is the monkey. You cannot free this Toad until you progress in the story and get the can opener. Once you do, you cannot miss it.
