I highly recommend the video for this one.I will try my best to explain this in writing.
When you enter the gym, go to the edge of the white part of the floor but don’t touch the ice yet. We want to slide to the right first. You should land on a snowball there. If you go up there is a white square you can land on. Go up to that square and then to the double square. From the bottom part of the double square, go elft and you will slide over a snowball.
Next go up the stairs, go down and go up the second set of stairs. Go to the white square near the steps and wrap around to to the third square. Drop of the ice ledge there and you will slide to the other side. Go to the left square and go down to the snowball. Now head right and you will slide through a second snowball.
Keep going right and then up the stairs. Use the white floor to yourself up higher and go right to the double white square there. Drop down from the left most part of the square and you will slide to a single white square near the middle. Slide down to the left and you will clear three snowballs. Go up the stairs and to the next white square and drop right to clear two more snowballs.
Now go down again and slide left to go up the stairs. Slide down and head up the second set of stairs again. Slide up to the snowball then down right to clear another snowball.
Now slide down and left again to get to the stairs. Slide up to the second white block there and then go left. Slide up to the single white block then slide right to clear the right of the snowballs out of the middle. From there slide your way back to the entrance and fight the gym leader.
