The DLC Isle of Armor has a tough act to follow. Completing the original Pokedex for Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Shield was a daunting task, featuring 400 unique Pokemon that you had to catch, hatch, evolve, and breed to complete the first Pokedex. The reward? The fabled Shiny Charm, an item that increases your chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon in the wild. It’s a fan favorite item but with Isle of Armor only introducing around 200 new Pokemon, and around 75% of them already being in the original Pokedex, it’s not even close to the challenge of the first games.
Zarude is currently in the Pokedex however it is an event-only Pokemon, it does not count toward filling your Pokedex.
What Do You Get For Completing Isle Of Armor Pokedex
Once you have filled your Pokedex, there is a total of 210 Pokemon to see and catch in the Isle of Armor’s DLC Pokedex, you need to Fast Travel to Fields of Honor and head into the Armor Station on the Isle of Armor. Inside you will see a scientist lady wearing glasses. Approach her and speak with her, you likely met her when you first arrived on the island.
If you Pokedex is full she will express her gratitude for your aiding with her research. She will then give you an updated icon on your league card and an Original Style Replica Gold Crown and a Mark Charm.
The Mark Charm increases the chance of a Pokemon you catch having a mark, it’s roughly a triple increase. Marks allow you to assign a special nickname to a Pokemon that is shouted when the Pokemon is sent into battle.
