Prey Neuromod Location Guide

Neuromod Location 1

This is the first Neuromod you’re introduced to and it’s nearly impossible to miss. After finding the Gloo Gun for the first time January will give you an objective to pick up the Neuromod. Simply follow the objective marker and pick it up to gain your first skill point.

Neuromod Location 2

You need to hack into the Security Booth (Level 1 hacking) then hack the computer inside (Level 2 hacking) to open the nearby Skill Recorder Analysis door. Once inside progress through the first room and then search the body under the large staircase.

Neuromod Location 3

This can be found inside the Volunteer Quarters. Check the tables near the chair device in the Neuromod install room.

Neuromod Location 1

The first Neuromod in the Talos 1 Lobby can be found inside the Transtar Exhibit. It’s on the first floor on the East side.

Neuromod Location 2

Also in the Transtar Exhibit. Check the wall near the first Neuromod in this room, you’ll see a fire alarm. Large red bell on the wall. These are scattered throughout the game. Whenever there is a right light on the wall above the alarm, there is a safe behind it. Hit the fire alarm 3 times with your Wrench to open the safe.

Neuromod Location 3

There is a set of 3 Neuromod’s inside your office. Simply pick up the pack of 3 Neuromod’s off the table.

Neuromod Location 4

You can find another pack of Neuromod’s inside the Sale’s Division. Check underneath Yuri’s desk. You need to go through the Teleconferencing Center to reach the Sale’s Division.

Neuromod Location 5

Another group of Neuromod’s, this time in the Trauma Center. Once inside the Trauma Center enter the office on the left as you arrive, Mathias Kohl’s Office. There’s a computer inside, click the option to start a new behavioral test. Answer the questions in the following order: A, C, B, A, C. After you complete the test check the wall opposite and a picture would have moved revealing a safe.

Neuromod Location 6

In the hallway next to the Restrooms. There’s another Neuromod inside a fire alarm on the wall.

Neuromod Location 7

Another group of 4 Neuromod’s can be found inside the Security Room on the bottom floor. You need to climb the yellow metal pipes outside the security room door to enter. You’ll find 4 more Neuromods in a briefcase next to Elias Black’s desk.

Neuromod Location 8

You receive a Neuromod during the main story after January becomes a physical Operator. He will drop one for you on your desk.

Neuromod Location 9

Inside the safe found inside Psychotronics. You have to have level 2 hacking to get into the safe.

Neuromod Location 10

Inside Hendrick DeVries Safe in the Trauma Center. You need Hendrick DeVries Keycard to enter. The code is 7324.

Neuromod Location 1

When you enter the Hardware Labs use the Gloo Gun to reach the second floor in the first room. You can enter Director Thorstein’s Office from the second level. You’ll find two Neuromod’s in a briefcase on the floor in his office.

Neuromod Location 2

When you reach the Security Metal Detector, near the Security Room, look to your left. In the hallway are a couple of glass display cases, you can find a Neuromod inside one.

Neuromod Location 3

On the 2nd level of the Atrium, you can use the Gravity Well to get up there. There’s a large statue. Behind the statue is a Fire Alarm. Hit it 3 times to open the hidden safe behind it.

Neuromod Location 4

Inside the Demonstration Stage, on the middle of the floor inside a briefcase.

Neuromod Location 5

Inside the Machine Shop use one of the computers to move the cargo. It falls mid-transport and drops a body, the body contains a Neuromod.

Neuromod Location 6

Found within the Storage Room inside the Machine Shop. Use the hole in the ceiling of the Machine Shop to get inside.

Neuromod Location 7+8

This is in the Look Glass Room. After you watch both the videos you can see the doctor put his tumbler on top of the scale and open up a hidden locker behind a wall. The tumbler is on a tool bench in the room, place it on the scale to open it up for two more Neuromods and a new key.

Neuromod Location 1

Head into the Security Station and to the location shown above. In one of the bathrooms there’s a hole that leads down. Run to the end of the tunnel, destroying the Gloo Gun stuff that blocks your path. At the end you’ll come across a body with a NAME and a Neuromod.

Inside Dr Kelstrup’s Safe. It’s an objective tied to the main story so you can’t really miss it.

Inside the Morgue in the Psychotronics

Neuromod Location 4

Inside the Armory that can be found in the Material Extraction area. You need to enter the code 8714. There’s also a mission here where you get to decide if a prisoner lives or dies.

Neuromod Location 5

Inside Behavioral Biometrics. Check on a table near the Typhon Lure, there’s a couple sitting there.

Neuromod Location 1

When you enter the Arboretum from G.U.T.S check the corpse in the room with the Recycle machine and Fabricator. You’ll find a Neuromod on the body.

Neuromod Location 2

Just outside the entrance to the main elevator on the Arboretum is a body, in the same hallway as the two damaged turrets. Just above the body is another fire alarm safe. Hit it three times with a Wrench to open it.

Neuromod Location 3

Found inside Alex Yu’s Office on his desk. You can use the Gloo Gun to get up the gravity shaft.

Neuromod Location 4

Inside Alex Yu’s safe. Behind his chair there’s a box blocking a maintenance tunnel. You get the code during the Who Is December mission, it was 8192.

Another couple of Neuromod’s can be found inside the Storage AR2 room.

On the table next to the computer in the gym. Inside the fitness center.

You can find a pack of 3 Neuromod’s inside Sylvain Bellamy’s Habitat

On the desk in Danielle Sho’s cabin in Crew Quarters B.

There are a set of Neuromod’s inside the freezer. You must complete A Cook’s Request optional mission.

Inside your own suite on the Executive Suites level.

Another couple of Neuromod’s inside Alex Yu’s Executive Suite.

Inside the Data Vaults. On the floor in the corner

Neuromod Location 2

On Level 2 of Deep Storage check the Command Center. There’s a couple on the table of Danielle Sho’s work station.

Neuromod Location 1

Found inside the Cargo Bay Security Safe. You can hack it with level 3 hacking or have to wait until much later to get the code. Has a Portable Turret Fabrication plan inside.

Neuromod Location 2

Inside Mikhaila Ilyushin’s office. You have to go there for a sub quest later so don’t worry about it on your first visit.

Neuromod Location 1

Dock Dr Igwe and save him when approaching the Cargo Bay. Speak with him when inside to receive a Neuromod.

Neuromod Location 2

Hidden inside a fire alarm safe in the Cargo Shipment Control Center. Right next to Dayo Igwe.

Neuromod Location 3

Near the entrance to Cargo Loading Access 01. Use Remote Manipulation to open the metal gate nearby and check the containers inside.

Neuromod Location 4

Located on Christopher Smith’s body at the entrance to G.U.T.S Loading Bay.

Neuromod Location 5

Inside the G.U.T.S area of the Cargo B area. Check the crate marked 3232. There’s a body inside with a Neuromod.

Inside the Security Station there is a Security Station Safe. Inside as 2 Neuromods. Code is 1511.

Neuromod Location 2

Inside the nearby medical bay not far from the Security Station

Neuromod Location 3

Level B3 Waste Processing. Activate the computer to drain the leeches. Search the body that falls with them.

Neuromod Location 4

There’s a pack of the Neuromods in the Supply Closet on Level B2. The code is 4637.

Neuromod Location 5

Level B1. In the office near the electrified walkway.

Neuromod Location 6

Complete optional mission Missing Engineer.

Neuromod Location 1

You can find a Neuromod in Parts Storage. Use Mimic to get through the small hole in the window.

Neuromod Location 2

Check the body of Talia Brooks. Check the Cooling Chamber lower floor, her body is surrounded by fire.

Level B2 in the Power Plant. Check the Coolant Chamber room. You’ll find them next to Mikhaila Ilyushin
