Red Dead Online Character Creation Guide
After you start Red Dead Online you must make a character. This Red Dead Online Character Creation Guide will walk you through the basics of the character creation system including some tips to look less screwed up in the face and information on the attributes you can select.
Creating your character is a very important part of your experience in Red Dead Online, so don’t rush it. While some options can be changed and improved later in the game, others cannot. Make sure, before finalizing your character, that you’re happy with the final result.

Firstly, you need to name your character. Once you have decided on a name, navigate to the “Lifestyle” option. Here you will find freckles, spots, scars, etc. Initially your characters face looks a complete mess but if you mess with these options first, it gives you a better gauge of what your character actually looks like. From there, it’s a simple matter of editing options to fit your personal preference. You get to customized your outfit and clothes later down the line, this is mostly just for the appearance of your characters face and his visual attributes.
Lastly, you will want to choose where to spend your Attributes. You can choose between Health, Stamina and Dead Eye. Again, there’s no real wrong choice here as you get to improve each of these attributes as you progress. However, if you’re uncertain where to spend your attributes, this is a good place to start.
Your health is very low to start with, and you can’t do anything if you’re dead. If you’re unsure of where to start, 1 or 2 points in health is never a bad idea. If you choose to spend only 1 in health, the other in Dead Eye isn’t a bad idea. Dead Eye can do a lot to help keep you alive and Stamina is easily managed.
