Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Animal Location Guide

Legendary Animals unlock unique outfits in Red Dead 2. This Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Animal Location Guide will tell you where you can find each of these dangerous Legendary Animals, how to take them down and the different unique outfits and rewards you get for doing so.

Legendary Animals are unique and very powerful counterparts to their non-legendary cousins. They come in various shapes and sizes, although all are predatory and all will take you down if you give them chance. Near the beginning of the game, when you are on your hunting mission with Hosea, you will meet your first Legendary Animal.

Legendary Animals all inhabit a certain area. Once you reach the area, you will have a prompt appear in the upper left of the screen informing you that you are in the correct location. You then need to use your Hunter Sense to track its exact location. You can differentiate between traditional creature tracks and legendary creature tracks. Legendary creature tracks are yellow, blue and other brighter colors, whereas normal animals are in white.

Where To Find Legendary Grizzly Bear

This is the first Legendary Animal you will encounter in Red Dead 2. At the end of the mission with Hosea, you can choose to return to camp or track down the bear. Choose to track it down and kill it for a Legendary Pelt.

You can craft a Legendary Bear Head Hat at the Trapper.

Where To Find Legendary Coyote

You can find the Legendary Coyote in this area. You can craft the Coyote Fang Trinket.

Where To Find Legendary Fox

The Legendary Fox can be found in the woodland to the South East of Mattock Pond. You can craft Fox Claw Trinket

Where To Find Legendary Crocodile

You can find the Legendary Crocodile here. You are not able to track this Legendary Animal until you have been introduced to it during a story mission with Dutch. It’s just South of Lagras.

Where To Find The Legendary Boar

You can find the Legendary Boat in Bluewater Marsh.

Where To Find Legendary Beaver

You can find the Legendary Beaver South of Elysian Pool, on the far East side of Newhanover.

Where To Find Legendary Moose

Very North East section of the map. As far North East as you can go.

Where To Find Legendary Wolf

You can find the legendary animal near Cotorra Springs. North West of Fort Wallace.

Where To Find The Legendary Ram

You can find the ram West of Valentine, North East of Wallace Station.

Where To Find Legendary Buck

In the Big Valley, in the Northern area of the map.
