Sea of Thieves just drops players into the deep end with no tutorial or hints on what to do. One of the first questions you might have is “How do I start a quest?” Check out this guide to find out how to start a quest in Sea Of Thieves.
Sea Of Thieves How To Start A Quest
Before you can start a quest you need to first get a quest. Quests in this game are actually called Voyages and they are pretty easy to start with. Head to the end of the dock near your ship and you find a senior Trader on the docks. Talk to them and they will have three start voyages for you and your crew to take. You can have all three on you but you can only do one at a time.
Next you want to hop on your ship and head into the cabin. Here you will find a table that you can place down your voyages on. If you have a crew, the crew will have to vote to find out which one they want to do if multiple voyages are put down. If you put one down the crew still has to accept it. Once it is accepted you are on the right track. Your first quest will most likely be one to catch some chickens. Go back to the trader after you accepted the quest and grab the chicken coop. Make sure you get more than one. Use the right bumper to pull out the paper with your quest on it and read it to see how many chickens you need.
Finding the Chickens is on you but Rare made a interactive map you can use to find them easier. The best way to find out where you are and where you need to go is by using the interactive map Rare has made, found here. From there you go get your chickens and return home for your reward.
