Card Action Abilities, or CAAs as they are abbreviated in game, are special abilities tied to certain cards. As with normal abilities, it’s important to know and understand your cards. Not all characters in the game have Card Action Abilities and some characters can even have multiple CAAs. Study your cards in your deck and understand how to use them in battle.

If a character has a Card Action Ability, you need to simply follow the instructions on the card. For example, during the tutorial battle, Goku has the Transform Card Action Ability. For the tutorial he simply needs to stand in the attacking space for your next turn.

Activated Ability
You can see here that I meet the conditions, by placing Goku in the attacking space. There is a small prompt that appears, a purple capsule. This indicates that the Transform Card Action will activate during the next combat phase.
