Yakuza 6: The Song of Life features two main cities, Onomichi and Kamurocho. This guide will tell you How To Travel To Onomichi Or Kamurocho In Yakuza 6 so you can go between the two to complete different missions, farm some cash or just enjoy a change of scenery.
There are number of Substories and other features within Yakuza 6 that require you to purchase items or make decisions in one area to change events in another. Unfortunately the ability to travel back to Kamurocho or Onomichi from the other city is incredibly limited, in fact it’s unavailable for almost the entire game.
You need to reach Chapter 13, the last chapter in Yakuza 6. This is right before the final events of the story. You have the objective to clear up any loose ends before heading to the Navy Apartments. At this point you can use a Taxi in either Onomichi or Kamurocho to travel between the two cities. This is the best time to polish off any Substories you still have left, do some fishing, max out your baseball team.
Sadly, prior to this moment, you cannot travel between the two cities unless the story forces you to do so.
