Trials Of Mana Li’l Cactus Locations Guide – Chapter I
These locations are listed in the order they can be discovered so if you’re working through the game, follow the guide as you progress and you shouldn’t miss any locations.
After the story battle against the two robots you are automatically sent back to the Free City of Maia. Li’l Cactus can be found sitting on top of one of the stalls near the ship
At the top of the Heavensway map is an entrance to a cave, Gusthall. When you enter Gusthall, take a left and you will find Lil Cactus in the next cavern. You can also obtain this one later when you return with the wind elemental to fully explore this area.
A second Lil Cactus is found in the first part of Heavensway. You can find it near the Amazon hideout in the area, following the story objective marker gets you to this location.
For this one you will need to use the wind. Jump into the wind and you will be flung onto the left cliff with Lil Cactus.
Trials Of Mana Li’l Cactus Locations Guide – Chapter III
Much of Chapter II doesn’t feature any Cactus locations. Eventually you will be able to use a flute to summon a vehicle that lets you travel on the water. At this point you can go one of two ways first, we went to the Desert Capital of Sirhtan first.
This one may be available before reaching Chartmoon Tower but I didn’t explore this part of the map until after that section. Hiding next to the bridge.
After you meet with the Elder he tells you Luna’s power can clear flowers that block your path. Follow the main objective to this location. You’ll find the Cactus just before the golden mana statue.

The story sends you near Laurent to get to Celestial Peak. You can’t enter Laurent but a nearby gate that was previously locked can now be opened. The Li’l Cactus is on the other side of the gate.
Trials Of Mana Li’l Cactus Locations Guide – Chapter V & VI
In Chapter V the game opens up and offers a lot of freedom on which objectives you want to tackle first. The initial objective marker takes you to Chartmoon Tower, so go there first and kill that Benevodon before using the drum to summon Flammie and going to another Benevodon location. When you are on the World Map, open your map and you can see all the locations. Either follow the order we go through or choose your own, either way the Cactus locations are on each map as follows.
You have to run the entire edge of the ruins back to near the start to lower the water. From that point, head to this location. The Cactus can be found sitting in some rocks.
Near the first Silver Mana Statue. The Jungle of Visions is one of two different dungeons you may have toward the end of the game. If it’s not Jungle of Visions, it should be another.
I’m not sure how early this is available. I completed the game and returned to the starting areas to use the map to try and find the final location. This one may be available much earlier in the game. The entrance to Cascade Cavern can be found just outside Astoria, the ruined town near the beginning of the game.
That’s all locations for Li’l Cactus. The ring reward increases CS as you walk around and the Chain Ability starts all allies in combat with 200% CS.
