Valkyria Chronicles 4 brings back the enemy Ace mechanic to add some more challenge to the maps. These enemies are scattered throughout the game during certain missions and skirmishes. Check out this Valkyria Chronicles 4 enemy ace location guide to find them all.
Monamor is found on mission Nocturnal Reconnaissance in Chapter 3.
He is found here on the map, near the cabin that the second fire team takes. He is a shock trooper but he can prone when getting shot at as well. I thought I had the drop on him and he went prone and wasted my units. He will drop the ZM MP 1(e), a machine gun with high damage versus armor and personal but bad range. If you like to get your shock troopers up close and personal, this gun is for you.
This is from the squad story “The Roguish Patient” and it can be a dozy. When you are fighting in the training area you will find Zilivyn there. If he can get close enough to hit one of your units they will die. To beat him you have to get behind him and head shot him so he doesn’t go prone. He ran down the hill at me so you will find him up on the hill in the grass in that area. He is a lancer so explosives are next to useless against him, don’t bother with the Mortar.
This is during the battle mission in the Squad Story “Treading New Ground.” You can find the target here on the map.
For this one I just used the Hafen to take out the heavy tank in that area. I hid down the alleyway when the heavy tank was coming at the Hafen. Luckily for me, the Ace turned his engine right my direction on his turn so it was a one shot kill. The reward for beating the tank is a Reinforced Frame which gives you more HP for your tank.
This is during the battle mission in the Squad Story “Like Old Times” You can find the target here on the map.
This guy was pretty easy to take down. He is sitting next to a Tank but if you take the base above him you can shoot him easily. I used my Scout and Engineer to with a co op attack and finished him. The reward for beating him is a ZM Kar 2(e)
You can find Namy during the main story mission “Breaking The Line 2” during Chapter 4. I found him by accident so he is easy to miss.
He is found in the grass here. I launched a mortar and it hit two guys and he popped out as well. I have a feeling he is placed there to mess your tank up if you are trying to rush up the side and he can do it. The reward for beating him is a VB PL 1(e)
Kajmir is found during the story battle “Withdrawl From Lindberg” in chapter 6.
He is a mortar guy and you can’t really miss him. I deal with him on turn one but I really dislike enemy mortar units. Your reward for killing him is the BV GW 1(e)
This one is found during the Skirmish mission “Siegval Line 2” and he is a Scout.
This is one of those guys you need to hit in the back. He will start off prone so make him move with a grenade or mortar, and then wrap behind him or he will duck when you shoot at him. You get a scout rifle for beating him but I forgot which one.
This one is found during the mission “Mountainous Retreat” and he is a Sniper.
You really need a sniper to get this one. From my position you will have a clear head shot and might be able to swing it with a Scout as well. Outside of that he is very difficult to hit. Your reward for taking him out is the ZM SG 2(e).
