This puzzle is towards the latter stages of the game during the mission objective Future Perfect. Once you have inspected and repaired all of the machines down on the floor below, you are tasked with aligning them in a special way in order to open a new door.

There are three different buttons you can press and then directional buttons. There is a yellow, purple and green button, representing the machines down below, and then the directional panels allow you to rotate and move each of the machines. The initial layout may differ depending on your playthrough but the above image is where my machines started. If yours is the same, follow these directions to solve the puzzle.
- Press the yellow button. Then press left, down and rotate once.
- Press the green button. Press right twice then rotate it twice.
- Press the purple button. Press down once.
- Press the green button, press down.
- Flip the switch
