When you are exploring long grass in Pokemon Let’s Go, you will sometimes encounter Pokemon that are surrounded by auras. These flashing lights flicker and move around the Pokemon. There are two different types of auras, blue and red.

What Do Lights Around Pokemon Do In Pokemon Let’s Go

When you encounter a Pokemon with the auras you can attempt to catch them. When you begin the battle you will notice something different. The red auras surrounding Pokemon means it’s a huge Pokemon and the blue means it’s a tiny Pokemon.

You will be able to confirm this at the beginning of the battle as you will receive an on-screen notification confirming that the Pokemon is either Huge or Tiny.
