What To Do With Renown In Fire Emblem Three Houses
Renown is a special currency you earn early in Fire Emblem Three Houses but can’t spend it at first. This guide will tell you what to do with renown so you know where you can spend it, what you can exchange it for and where you need to be.

Renown is earned often throughout the game. You usually see a brief pop-up message on-screen that informs you that your previous activity earns Renown. While Renown can be earned in many different ways, it’s primarily gathered from completing Side Quests and battles.

What To Do With Renown In Fire Emblem Three Houses

You cannot spend Renown at the start of the game. You need to progress through the main story until you reach Chapter 5. During Chapter 5 there is a side quest called Tending to the Saints, it’s a side quest you receive from Flayn. Once you complete the quest you unlock the ability to restore the Saint Statues.

This is where you can spend your Renown. Improving each statue provides a flurry of buffs and improvements so make sure to spend that renown.

Blaine "Captain Camper" Smith is one of the original founders of Gamers Heroes. Now operating under the guise of Editor-in-Chief (purely because we felt the position was needed for public relations purposes), he's tasked with a lot of the kind of jobs that would put you to sleep at your desk. When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
