The Fisherman’s Gambit is quite a lengthy quest line. It begins shortly after you visit Seafront for the first time and then continues right up toward the end of the game, giving the player new stages and new fishing challenges to complete every step of the way. There are eight stages in total. The first stage tasked you with catching 10 Sardines and the second stage, this stage, tasks you with catching 10 Blowfish.
Where To Catch Blowfish In NieR Replicant Ver1.22
In order to catch Blowfish, you require two things. The correct bait and the correct location. The correct bait for Blowfish is Lugworms. You can purchase these at the fishing store, marked by a fishing rod icon on the map, in Seafront. They are relatively cheap so it’s a good idea to stock up if you plan to complete all the different stages of the Fisherman’s Gambit questline.
Once you have enough Lugworms return to the old man that gave you the quest. He’s near the Southern beached, standing on a stone platform overlooking the sea. Simply cast off into the water below and you will be able to catch the 7 Blowfish. It can take a while. Sardine’s are much more common and you can even catch a Bream here, so it will need plenty of bait and patience.
