Another brand new Pokemon to Gen 9, Charcadet. This guide on Where To Catch Charcadet In Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet will tell you exactly where you need to go to hunt down these awesome looking new Pokemon as it’s quite rare to find and, using this guide, you’re able to find it very near to the start of the game.
Charcadet is arguably one of the coolest-looking new Pokemon for the 9th generation. It looks like an armored, fiery knight. Charcadet is a Fire-type Pokemon and has the new Fire Tera Type. When I caught my Charcadet at this location it was level 14 and started with Ember, Astonish, Clear Smog, and Fire Spin. It also has the Ability Flash Fire, which absorbs some damage dealt by Fire-type moves and uses it to power its own Fire-type moves.
Where To Catch Charcadet In Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet
It’s a short walk away from where you defeat the Bug Gym Leader. Follow the path North out of that town and eventually, you will enter West Province Area One. Once you are in this area follow the path a short distance and then you can venture off the side of the path into a cave. There is a single spawn here and I’ve only found it at night. It’s in the back of the cave, near the item on the floor there.
Always a good idea to save on these rare spawns, just in case. Catch the Charcadet to add it to your Pokedex.

Blaine "Captain Camper" Smith is one of the original founders of Gamers Heroes. Now operating under the guise of Editor-in-Chief (purely because we felt the position was needed for public relations purposes), he's tasked with a lot of the kind of jobs that would put you to sleep at your desk.
When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
