There are many different side quests in Pokemon Legends Arceus, called Requests. Most of these requests unlock in order but a select few quests only appear once you have completed some requirements. For this particular Request, Request #21 Back-Alley Mr.Mime, you must have caught a Mr Mime and then visit the professors lab to check the Requests board.

You can catch a Mr Mime relatively early in Pokemon Legends Arceus. It’s on the Obsidian Fieldlands map, the first map you get to explore. They can be found in the very South West corner of the map. South West of the Sandgem Flats, on the beach area right near the edge of the map.

There are both Mr. Mime and Mime Jr at this location. Be careful when approaching Mr. Mime as his barrier can deflect your Pokeballs. As such, you want to approach quietly from behind and throw a Pokeball while Mr. Mime is unaware.
