Wooper has a brand new Paldean form in the new games. This guide on Where To Catch Paldean Wooper In Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet will tell you where you can catch an awesome new version of Wooper that boasts both a different appearance, it’s a darker color, and a new moveset and type combination.

In all of the recent Pokemon games, they have introduced special regional versions of Pokemon. These are familiar Pokemon that we’ve seen and caught before, but in a new region, they are different. They come with a different appearance and usually a different moveset and type. The same can be said for the new regional Wooper, the Paldean Wooper. The new version is a darker brown color and comes with a brand new type combination, Ground and Poison, where it was Water and Ground previously. Making it even better, we can catch Paldean Wooper right near the start of the game.

If you want to add the brand new Paldean Wooper to your team, you don’t have to wait very long. Follow the main story until it tells you to visit Los Platos, this is just after you climb the Lighthouse at the start of the game. After climbing the Lighthouse head North and follow the path, crossing the bridge.

Once you get to the other side there’s a small lake. There’s a chance for Paldean Wooper to spawn here. He’s usually in or around the waters edge so if he’s not immediately there, hang around for a while and see if he spawns in.
