We’re nearing the end of The Fisherman’s Gambit quest line now as the Royal Fish is the 6th challenge in the series. As with the previous challenges, you’re tasked with finding a very specific fish and catching enough to complete the objective. For this particular challenge, you need to catch 3 Royal Fish but before heading out, make sure you stock up on the correct bait.
Where To Catch Royal Fish In NieR Replicant Ver1.22
Royal Fish is one of the biggest challenges yet but before you go, make sure you stock up on plenty of Earth Worms for bait. Once you’ve got your Earth Worms ready to go, you need to travel back to Eastern Road, the road before the Desert.
When you reach the area there is a small path that leads down to the river. Head down to the shoreline and you can use your rod to fish. They are quite tough to catch, probably the slowest bar so far, so it takes a lot of patience and a tap of skill – but it’s not too difficult.
One more step before the finale, for stage 8 of the quest you need to catch two Blue Marlin.
