Where To Find Gigantamax Squirtle & Bulbasaur In Isle of Armor
Pokemon Sword & Shield’s DLC has released and with it, exciting new Gigantamax Pokemon. This guide explains Where To Find Gigantamax Squirtle (Blastoise) & Bulbasaur (Venusaur) In Isle of Armor as two of the most popular Pokemon from the original 151 return with a welcomed Sword and Shield twist.

I am currently running through Pokemon Shields version of events. Pokemon Swords event may differ slightly, but I’m assuming it’s the same. We will be going through Pokemon Sword shortly, and will update if any of the information needs to be changed or edited.

Where To Find Gigantamax Blastoise & Venusaur In Isle of Armor

Where To Find Gigantamax Blastoise & Venasaur In Isle of Armor
Both Gigantamax Squirtle and Gigantamax Bulbasaur, or Blastoise and Venusaur in their top evolutions, are tied to the story. Work through the main story until you have found all three of the fast Slowpoke and then return to the Dojo. When you return, after a short bit of dialogue, you are given the choice between choosing Bulbasaur or Squirtle. As the NPC informs you, these have both been trained to be able to Gigantamax once they reach their maximum stage of evolution.

You are given the choice, so you can only choose one. When you make your choice, the other trainer takes the other Pokemon, so it’s unlikely you will have the option to do anything else involving these two later in the story.

Hopefully you have better luck with the IV’s than I did.

When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
