Honey can be found in trees with Beehives in them. When you take the honey you will get stung for 15 damage so make sure you can take the hit. There are two trees to the north west of your house on a hill that have honey in them. Be careful at night though because bats will roam the area. There is also another hive near the camp outside of town. Thankfully the honey respawns very quickly, I think daily so you can stack it up quickly. Make sure you don’t accidentally chop down the trees with the Beehives in them or you risk losing the honey and won’t be able to bake your cakes.
