Much like finding Copper Ore, locating Iron Ore can be a slow task. There’s very likely mines and stuff later, to make collecting ores easier, but at the start of the game, you’re limited to just a few locations.

Firstly, once you have access to the Coastal map, head there. Travel to the far West to Pruni Reef. There’s a small cave here, Pruni Cave, deep inside the cave is both a Copper and Iron Ore node. They are marked by an orange color on the mini-map.
