As you can see from the image above, Izuchi are small, raptor-like creatures. Easily and instantly recognizable to veteran Monster Hunter players but for those of us still struggling to remember any of the names for most of the creatures, an image is always a big help. They are small, raptor-like, fast, easy to find and easy to kill.
Where To Find Izuchi In Monster Hunter Rise
I went during the Night time but they may also be present during the day. I also did this during an Expedition as I was looking for a Rock Lizard for the photography quest anyway, but it’s probably more efficient if you just take them down and kill them while you’re doing other quests or hunting bigger monsters. Either way, the location should remain the same.
As shown above, you will find them around the 4 and 8 on the map. Unfortunately I was only able to find 2-3 at each location and you need to kill 8 for the quest. There may be another spawn location that I missed, but I did a thorough search. Once you have killed all of the Izuchi at both of those locations, simply leave the Expedition or and repeat it, or try and finish them off the next time you’re questing in the area. The kills will remain between quests.
