It spawns in a few different spots but here is a couple I found.
I think they change the spawns daily. I have found them along cliffs, in caves, and on the beach mostly. You will need the Resource Harvester upgrade in order to get these nodes. If you are having trouble finding them then go to sleep and wake up for them to spawn again.
You can use these materials to get the Pulse Wave upgrade, a teleporter back home, and various other crafting things at base. They can be dropped off at the Refinery anywhere on the map so you don’t lose them on death. I have yet to check the other areas, there might be more spawn points out there I haven’t seen yet.
