Before you’re able to complete this quest, you must have unlocked the ability to take pictures. Once you have the Camera ability unlocked on Link’s ability wheel, all you need to do is approach the monuments and use the camera ability until you see the “!” icon appear over the monument. You can then snap a picture and it saves, you can take it back to the NPC to complete the quest.

The first one is in the large room directly next to the NPC. You will need to destroy rock walls to gain access to it. The other is in the small classroom. You can only go during the day as the morning lessons only allow children. You need to line up the two broken part of the monument with the camera to take the picture.

The third is near the rear exit of the underground. Just past some crates and boxes. It’s broken. You need to blow away the sand to clear it up. The final one is in the prison. You break some jars in a nearby room to gain entry and then use the Ascend ability to enter the jail from below.

This quest is for one of the magical orbs you need to complete the Mysterious Eighth.
