Where To Find The Katana In Dark Souls 3

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] You will need to beat the first boss and make it to the Firelink Shrine before you can get the Uchigatana Katana in Dark Souls 3. When you make it to the Fire Link Shrine, go back out towards the graveyard and go to the right. There is a path that leads up some stairs you will want to take. Before you engage, there is a second set of stairs halfway up with two bad guys sitting down, kill them. If you don’t kill they could get in your way during the fight and you might need all the extra health you can get. This guy is strong at the starter levels and he can get a wicked combo off on you quickly. His attacks also bring up the bleed meter so be ready for that.

Thankfully if everything goes to plan you won’t have to fight him for very long. There is a cliff all along the left side of the path that you will be fighting him. The idea is to get him with his back towards the cliff and push him over. He won’t make this easy on you but his movements are predictable. If you stay on the far right side he will circle you to the left and be in prime position for a push-off. When I say push I don’t mean like a shield bash or anything, just attack and he will likely roll himself off the cliff. If he falls, reload your game to get the items, they will be where he was standing. If you beat him without making him fall you can just pick up the items where you killed him at.

The Katana can inflict Bleed damage on enemies if you land enough hits. Uchigatana also has very low durability so you will want to have a backup weapon with you or repair powder just in case.
