This is where you can find Vulpix in Pokemon Sword very easily. If you are playing Pokemon Shield, you will find a lot of Growlithe here instead. You can find both Pokemon in both versions. Vulpix is available near the end-game material, inside a high level Wild Area den for Shield, you can also catch it in the long grass in the Fire gym.
Where To Find & Catch Vulpix In Pokemon Sword & Shield
Vuplix can be found in the Wild Area, here on the map. Vulpix will only be out during the day time and when it is clear skies.
Head to this location and you can track down a Vulpix for yourself. Vulpix is a Fire type Pokemon, which means it’s weak to Water. Be very careful when using a Water Pokemon. While you can take a lot of Fire hits, you can kill Vulpix easily. It’s best to use a Water Pokemon that has some basic Normal moves, like Tackle. This way your defense remains high and you won’t accidentally kill Vulpix in a single attack.
Wear down Vulpix to low HP, use status moves like Sleep if you are struggling, then toss your ball and hope for the best.
