If you’re not familiar with Borderlands, you may not find out how to sell items quickly and easily. However, it is very simple. At the start of the game you are unable to sell items. Once you have found vending machines approach them and interact with them. You will see, at the very top of the screen, the available options. There’s “Buy Back”, “Purchase”, “Sell”, you simply need to navigate using the appropriate buttons (R1/RB) to switch to the sell tab.
This is where you need to be careful. You can sell everything, even the items you have equipped. It’s a stupid system, especially in a game that is nearly entirely loot-based. Go through your equipped items and favorite them all. You can then just spam sell everything in your inventory safely.
