When Does The Beast Core Unlock In Xenoblade Chronicles 2
During Chapter 3 you will eventually face a spider boss that has a Blade attached to it. After you defeat the boss the core will drop but the energy will be depleted. You will have to wait until Chapter 4 before the Blade is unlocked and you can use it. There is a part where you have to take on some Bandits during a story quest and shortly after that, you will get the prompt saying that you can now use the Beast Core.
